Precautions for burning beeswax candles

2022-05-18

1. Match a suitable candle holder to the Beeswax Candle;

2. Before lighting the candle, check the length of the wick. The wick should remain between 5mm and 9mm. When the wick is too long, it can cause the candle to smoke (black soot);

3. Since the melting point of beeswax is slightly higher than other waxes, you may need to use a lighter for a while.

4. Keep burning Beeswax Candles away from open windows, fans or vents. Breezes may cause candles to drip, smoke (emit black soot) and burn unevenly;

5. Do not place lit candles where children, pets or other people may knock them over.

6. If the wick is not in the center when the candle is burning, first extinguish the candle, gently push the wick to the center, and then light it again;

7. If you want to extinguish the candle, it is best to use a candle extinguisher to soak the wick in the liquid pool of the candle to extinguish the candle. Then straighten the wick, ready to use again.

8. Keep candles clean when storing them. Dirty beeswax candles may drip or smoke (emitting black soot) when burning.
